What makes Naturally Pawsome dog food so special?
Naturally Pawsome is a highly nutritious pet food that mimics a dog’s ancestral diet while still being affordable and not requiring a whole shelf in your fridge or freezer. We make this possible by mixing kibble with freeze-dried meats and organs which allows the food to maintain almost all its raw nutrition and taste while still being affordable.
We designed this food in conjunction with specialist animal and pet nutritionists in New Zealand and thoroughly tested its nutrition at Massey University.

Why freeze dried?
better taste, texture and more nutrition for your dog
Freeze drying is an amazing process where approximately 98% of the water content is removed which efficiently prevents and or slows microbial action and preserves the food. It maintains the foods natural taste and texture far better than traditional drying methods, it also minimises nutrient loss like essential amino acids by preserving without cooking.

AAFCO accreditation and what it means
We are excited to announce that Naturally Pawsome has successfully met the rigorous standards set by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) for dietary requirements. This achievement reflects our commitment to providing high-quality nutrition for your furry friends, and we take pride in being part of a global gold standard in pet food.
AAFCO establishes guidelines to ensure that pet foods are not only healthy but also balanced. by meeting these criteria, we have confirmed that our Naturally Pawsome grass-fed Lamb and Mutton- featuring 15% raw ingredients- meets or exceeds these essential AAFCO benchmarks. This process involved a comprehensive evaluation of our product, including a full nutrient, vitamin, enzyme, and amino acid profile, all meticulously developed by accredited animal nutritionists.
What this simply means is that you can trust Naturally Pawsome has been tested by Massey University and has been formulated by Accredited Animal Nutritionists here in New Zealand as a complete and balanced diet for all breeds and ages (except for Giant Breed Puppies, such as Great Dane, Saint Bernard).
