The dream of natural pet food
Naturally Pawsome began with one simple goal. To make a dog’s dinner naturally nutritious.
As people became more conscious about clean eating, we started asking why dogs should be any different. Dogs are family. They deserve food that supports their health, happiness, and longevity.
Our wolfpack of very honest taste testers agrees. This food is something dogs truly love.
What makes this pet food different?
Does your pet deserve the best? What if, we told you that the founder of Naturally Pawsome qualified as a zoologist, before spending 15 years perfecting his craft as a Superyacht Chef, cooking for guests all around the world? And, what if, we then told you that cooking for dogs makes him WAY happier. Wouldn't that be awesome? Everyone, meet Adam. Adam meet everyone.
Since becoming land based in 2015, Adam has managed a farm to table/ lake to plate destination, part owned a boutique hotel, restaurant, cellar door and a business development company. Roles aside, upon his return to New Zealand, his goal was to have ducks and dogs as part of his everyday life... The idea of Naturally Pawsome began cooking in 2021 and became a reality in 2023.

Why freeze dried?
Freeze drying removes around 98 percent of moisture from food. This slows microbial activity and preserves nutrients without cooking.
The result is better taste, better texture, and significantly higher nutrient retention compared to traditional drying methods. Essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals stay intact, just as nature intended.

The Kibble size is approximately 11mm by 10mm to benefit all breeds

Lamb is great for dogs who are particularly sensitivities to allergies or to other proteins like beef or chicken, it is a great source of protein and Lamb is rich in vitamins like B12, niacin, and minerals like iron, zinc, and phosphorus, all of which play vital roles in maintaining overall health and well-being of your dog.

AAFCO accreditation and what it means
We are excited to announce that Naturally Pawsome has successfully met the rigorous standards set by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) for dietary requirements. This achievement reflects our commitment to providing high-quality nutrition for your furry friends, and we take pride in being part of a global gold standard in pet food.
AAFCO establishes guidelines to ensure that pet foods are not only healthy but also balanced. by meeting these criteria, we have confirmed that our Naturally Pawsome grass-fed Lamb and Mutton- featuring 15% raw ingredients- meets or exceeds these essential AAFCO benchmarks. This process involved a comprehensive evaluation of our product, including a full nutrient, vitamin, enzyme, and amino acid profile, all meticulously developed by accredited animal nutritionists.
What this simply means is that you can trust Naturally Pawsome has been tested by Massey University and has been formulated by Accredited Animal Nutritionists here in New Zealand as a complete and balanced diet for all breeds and ages (except for Giant Breed Puppies, such as Great Dane, Saint Bernard).

We began with the goal of making a ‘dogs dinner’ naturally nutritious, mimicking the ancestral diet.

We are extremely aware of the happiness that pets add to the home equation. Skye, the wolfpacks OG brand ambassador, adds a level of awesome to everyday life that makes our home a happier place. As the world began to eat ‘clean’ and grew more aware of consumption, we began experimenting, to create the same level of quality nutrition for everyone that we consider family.

This little guy landed in 2023 with a healthy appetite for adventure. Small in size, large in personality, he is an adorable people magnet.

This beautiful, fun loving, gentlemanly Irish Setters principle activity is leaning on humans and melting them with his gorgeous brown eyes.

Our peanut butter loving pug friend Norbit finds joy in food, cuddles and sniffing new things but doesn't like being picked up too much...

This nimble adventurer clocks near 20km every day chasing bunnies. He loves multi day expeditions and howls like a little wolf when left behind...
