The moment things didn't add up...

For 15 years, I lived in a world of culinary obsession. As a Superyacht Chef, I spent my days sourcing the finest organic produce and Michelin-grade proteins for the world’s most discerning guests. Everything had to be perfect. Everything had to be functional. Everything had to be real. 

But at the end of the shift, when I looked down at what was being served to the "other" family members—our dogs—the disconnect was jarring. 

I saw a multi-billion dollar industry built on: 

  • Brown Pellets: Highly processed, "dead" food stripped of life. 
  • Hidden Fillers: Ingredients used to pad profits, not health. 
  • The Marketing Smoke-Screen: Pretty pictures of vegetables on bags that contained almost none of them. 

As a Zoologist, I knew the biology didn't lie.
As a Chef, I knew the ingredients were failing.
It didn't set right with me.

Looking closer at what dogs actually need, we knew the answer wasn't complicated.

I know the answer: raw, nutrient-dense, ancestral food.
But the reality of modern life? Logistical nightmare.
It's messy, time-consuming, and nearly imposible to balance perfectly every single day.

I decided there had to be a third way.

The “Chef’s Method” to Pet Food

Naturally Pawsome was born in 2021 to bridge that gap. I applied the same precision I used in high-performance kitchens to create a smarter way to feed. 

We combined Freeze-Dried Raw chunks—preserving 98% of the original nutrients, enzymes, and flavours —with high-quality, balanced kibble. No extremes. No gimmicks. Just a practical, considered approach.
